Premier Division

Bracknell Cavaliers Old Boys and Crowthorne (the prince) shared the spoils in an 8 goal game as both sides netted 4 times to claim a point each. Dan Lewendon, Michael Brewster, James Rodgers and Carl Lucas netted for the Old Boys, with Mace, Lee and Kent (2) scoring for Crowthorne.

Finchampstead Athletic and Wokingham United also shared the points this week as their match ended at 1-1. Grant Lewen netted for Wokingham with Ashley Henry replying for Finch whom had plenty of chances to win the encounter.

Winkfield managed to turn over Bracknell Manics 3-1 this week, but the game was closer than the score suggests as both sides had equalling spells of pressure and possession. It’s goals that count though and Zack Spencer, Dan Sleet and Stuart Clapson made sure of the points for Winkfield. Gary Farmer netted the solitary goal for Manics. Best wishes go to Oliver Knowles of Winkfield whom was injured during the game with a suspected broken ankle.

1st Division

Bracknell Galaxy had to overcome the disappointment of being reduced to 9 men to hold out for a draw against Bracknell Royals. Having dominated the game up to the sendings off, Craig Baker made use of the possession and converted for Galaxy. John Hall replied for the visitors as the game ended 1-1.

FC Priestwood and Royal Oak shared the points in a topsy turvy 4-4 score line. Royal Oak took a 3-0 lead after 20 mins through Andy Wells, Richard Massingham and Jamie Tucker. FC Priestwood managed to turn things around though before the break as the home side took the lead 4-3 before the whistle went with goals from Connor Wilson (2), Bernie McDonagh and Greg O’Rielly. Jamie Osbourne finished the scoring in the 2nd half as his goal drew the scores level which is how it stayed.

Keephatch Park had a day to forget as they were turned over by Finchampstead Ath Res 4-0. Matt James (3) and Matt Barclay netted for Finch, but the score could have been higher according to Keephatch. Rides United netted in the closing minutes of the game to topple BMW 7-6 in this superb end to end game.

Rides took a 4-0 lead before BMW got going and reduced the score line to 5-2 at the interval. BMW did manage to level the scores at 5-5 before Rides went ahead again. BMW thought they had a share of the points after levelling the game at 6-6 but Rides converted late on to deny BMW any points. Adam Porter, Kylo Atkinson, Mo Zagbani, Sean King (2) and Royston Atkinson (2) all netted for Rides, with Nathan Lightbody, Shane Westgate, Martin Smith and Paul Sharman (3) all scoring for BMW.

The Metropolitan were overcome by FC Fernhill as the visitors left the game with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Sam Whiting (2) and Scott Whiting.

2nd Division

AC Woodcutters remain unbeaten this season as this week they saw off 3M 6-2. Edward Watts (3), Sean Watson (2) and Richard Docherty all scored for Woodcutters, with an own goal and a deflected Martin Earl shot accounting for the 3M goals.

Ashridge Park shot down Wokingham Wanderers 5-1 as the away side didn’t have much to offer on a wet and windy day. Jon Austin (3), Scott Smith and James Gala netted for the home side with Steve Campbell grabbing the consolation for Wokingham.

Dukes Head put on a rampant 1st half display to demolish FC A1 Group 4-1 this week. Martin Stevens, Daniel McCloud, Lee Thomas and Carl Palmer all netted for Dukes in the 1st half to kill off any A1 advances. Sam Stroud netted for A1 close to the final whistle to avoid a whitewash.

Finchampstead Ath A could only field 10 men to start against AFC Dukes, but were reduced to 8 men during the game as injuries played their part on the home side. Dukes took advantage of this and eventually ran home 8-3 winners on the day. Dave Nicholson (2) and Dean Hemmings netted for Finch, with Matt Jaloby (3), Scott Stowell (2), Alan Sunderland, Scott Riddlesworth and Ryan Elliot all netting for Dukes.

The Old Manor conceded first against The Bridge as Stuart Charlwood netted for the visitors, but the home side were level before the half time whistle with Billy Golding latching onto a superb cross. A Sam Williams brace put Manor 3-1 up before James Forrest reduced the difference to 3-2 mid way through the 2nd half. Richard Osbourne netted a 25 yard shot to round of the scoring and take away a 4-2 victory for Manor. Ian Birch takes man of the match for Manor.

3rd Division

AFC Beechfleet saw off Victoria Arms 6-2 as Andrew Sweet (3), David Clifford (2) and Liam Sheery all got on the score sheet. Matt Elison and Steven Lightboy managed to reduce the score line for Victoria before the final whistle.

Bracknell Manics Res dominated against Finchampstead Ath B as the visitors were hit for 6 this weekend. Chris Mitchell (3), Craig Parsons and David Comper all netted for Manics in this 6-0 win.

In this top of the table clash, Calfridus Wanderers were outgunned by table toppers Inter 4-0 whom still maintain a 100% start to the season. Tom Hobbs (3) and a 25yd strike by Rick Shaw was enough to see off Calfridus.

Queens Head also put 6 past their opposition as FC Muchachos could only field 9 men for play this week. Owen Thomas, Ruben Kingsland, Steve Wood and Dave Pye (3) all scored as the keeper didn’t have a thing to do apart from catch a cold. Muchachos did put on a spirited performance despite the lack of players.

Warfield United made short work of a disjointed Birch performance as the home side comfortably put 7 past the visitors without reply. Daniel Hicks (2), Richie Cohen, Nick Shears and man of the match Richard Webb (3) all netted for the home side in a deserved victory.

Winkfield Res were undone with a spirited 2nd half performance from Loddon Valley Rangers as the visitors won the fixture 6-2. Adam Chance and Nick Mullett netted for Winkfield, with Steven Nicholls (2), Jack Bradbrook, Gregory Ley, Josh Kerrioghan and a 30 yard wind assisted goal form Craig Allen rounding off the scoring for Loddon.

4th Division

Axfield’s hard work is paying dividends as this week they won 3-1 against Ashridge Park Res with goals from James Nigerboy and Josh Merritt (2). Ashridge benefited from an own goal but could not break down the Axfield defence further.

Bagshot Road scored 2 goals a half to see off Bracknell Rovers 4-0 at the final whistle. Josh Flynn, Colin Hutchins, Brian Murphy and Alan Davis all netted in a game which could have seen plenty more goals.

Bracknell Badgers were out gunned by Rides Utd Res as the visitors left with a 5-0 victory thanks to goals from Mark Smith (2), Jared Dickson, Paul Cousins and John Downes.

FC Rapids continue to move up the table thanks to a 2-1 victory over AFC Farmer in what seemed to be a very even contest. Scott Cunningham and Dave Cooper netted for the home side as Scott Wooley replied for Farmer.

Red Star were left red faced this week as Dukes Head Res saw off the host comfortably with a 5-0 victory. Paul Carson Long, Connor Campbell and George Hobden (3) all netted for Dukes as their keeper had nothing to do but watch the game for the full 90 minutes.
