Finchampstead Ath Res could not hold out to see off the advances of opponents FC Wokingham as the visitors won the game 3-2. Rob Dangerfield and Alan Wilcox netted for Finch, with Tony Calvert, Stuart Napper and a 30 yard strike from Barry Agar enough to win the game for Wokingham.

Met did stage a fight back and pulled a goal back before the break through Nick Lovell. Another goal was netted in the 2nd half by Craig Graves, but the home side could not force the equaliser and the damage was already done with Diligent winning the game 3-2.

Winkfield Sports made use of the extra man as Wokingham Wanderers played with 10 due to injury. Winkfield scored twice from corner kicks, both converted by Mark Brown, to win the game 2-0.

2nd Division

3M had a strange encounter against Finchampstead Ath A as the visitors started the game with 8 men! The home side did win the game 6-0 but not being able to get motivated, they should have had more. Bill Bailey, Martin Earl and Chris Stark (4) scored the goals for 3M.

In an end to end game, AC Woodcutters could not break down the Ashridge Park defence and were left high and dry as Luke smith scored the only goal of the game for the visitors to give Ashridge all 3 points in a 1-0 win.

BMW started with a full strength team for the first time in many weeks and were rewarded as they saw off the Prince 4-1. Rory McGill (3) and Martin Smith netted for BMW, with Martin Gartier replying for Prince. The game was very competitive, but to their own admission, Prince leak too many goals.

Atletico Reading and Loddon Valley Rangers played out an evenly contested and very physical game with Loddon grabbing the advantage on 70 mins as they scored through Joe Hill. They then went on to hold out for full time and a 1-0 win. Both teams agree that Atletico keeper Rob Madeley should be man of the match.

Red Star and Bagshot Road Res could not be separated as their game ended 1-1. Sam Williams netted the goal for Bagshot in a game the visitors thought they should have won.

Ride United Res take points from table toppers FC A1 Group for the 1st time this season as they came from 2 down to level the game at 2-2 for full time. Adam Cornell and Dan Jowell netted for FC A1, with Ricky Davis and John Downes equalising for Rides.

The Birch came together as a unit for the first time in many weeks and opponents Axfield were made to pay the penalty as they eventually left the game win a 7-1 defeat. The Birch took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Jamie Austin and Martin Bell to settle the ship, but Axfield struck back with a well worked counter attack from Justin Hall which was finished by Arron Finn from close range. Heads did not drop though and further goals came from plenty of possession as Dan Risby, Dan Jones and a Steve Jones penalty saw the home side 5-1 up at the break. Richard Anscomb and super sub Tim Davies netted in the 2nd half to give the Birch a much needed lift.

Warfield continue to dish out beatings to the top placed teams in the league as they saw off William Twigg Res 3-0 this week in what can only be called a fantastic performance from Warfield. Plaudits go to Joe Tickner and James Knight as they both played outstanding games for the team.

Mid way through the 2nd half of extra time, Andy Wells netted for Royal Oak to pull the score to 4-3 and to set up a tense final closing minutes. Unfortunately for the home side the equaliser was just out of reach and the visitors left the game with a spot in the final, leaving the home side to concentrate on the league from here on in. Final score 4-3 to Water Eaton after extra time.
