Premier Division

Athletico Priestwood end table toppers, William Twigg Albions run of victories by condemning them to a 3-0 loss. The third came from an own goal courtesy of the Twigg defence.

Bagshot Road were put on the back foot by Finchampstead Athletic Sunday as the visitors made full use of the opportunities available to them. Luke Axton-Hall and a penalty by Harry Swabey was enough to see off the home side 2-0. Congrats go to referee Tom Slaughter for a well handled game.

Crowthorne Sunday and Emmbrook Inn cancelled each other out as they finished their match 2-2. Mark Napier gave Emmbrook the lead only for Paul Graham to level things up with a well taken 18yard free kick. Napier gave Emmbrook the lead for a 2nd time and this was almost held onto, until Martin Thaines volleyed from outside the box straight into the net to equalise with 5 mins remaining.

Winkfield made short work of Bracknell Manics in the 2nd half to close off a good all round performance and a 5-1 victory. Lee Nevard (3), Sam Handley and Andy Parslow all netted for Winkfield, with Lee Blackman scoring the solitary goal for Manics.

Wokingham Wanderers couldn’t do anything to stop the commanding performance of visitors Woodley Hammers as the away side won the game 7-1. Playing efficient flowing football, Hammers took a 7-0 lead through efforts from Sam Cialis (2), Rob Timbers (2), Neil Robinson, Joe Hill and Kevin Finlay. Wanderers managed a consolation, which happened to be the goal of the game, as Mark Franklin smashed home a 25 yard free kick into the top corner of the hammers net.

2nd Division

Neither Ashridge Park and AFC Dukes could find the back of the net during play today as the teams cancelled each other out in their 0-0 draw. Not many chances were on offer, but AFC Dukes had a penalty awarded in the final 5 mins of the match, to which the Ashridge keeper saved he spot kick to earn his team a point.

Gary Sarney and Graham McDonald netted for Manics, but this lead was cut down to size shortly after by Mark Smith, Stuart Clark (2) and Richard Thorpe. Andrew Nealon then piled on the misery as he netted twice in quick succession to finish the game 3-1 to Atletico.

Axfield pick up their 1st point of the season as they fought out a 3-3 draw against Bracknell Badgers.
