Bracknell
Galaxy faced 3M today and started well, taking the lead just before
the half with a Kelvin May goal. Daniel Howard doubled the Galaxy
lead after the break, but soon 3M were awarded a penalty. This spot
kick was converted by Martin Earl, but instead of gaining momentum
from the goal, 3M conceded almost straight from the kick off as
Jason Parsons put Galaxy 3-1 up. Ben Appleby netted for 3M to close
the gap, but this was too little too late as the game ended 3-2.
FC

for Fernhill with Dan Willis being awarded the man of the match

2-0 down thanks to goals from Mark Campbell (2). Nick Tirebuck pulled
a goal back for Syngenta with an 18 yard volley, but Winkfield netted
twice more before the break with goals from Chris Hill and James

lead in the 2nd period, leaving Ronan Malacan to save face for Syngenta
by netting toward the end of the game. The result could have been
different ha the woodwork not kept Syngenta at bay on several occasions,
but the result ended 6-2 to Winkfield.

Berks
& Bucks Junior Trophy 5th Round
With
only 2 Bracknell teams left in the county competition it was inevitable
that they would face each other at some stage. AFC Beechfleet from
the 4th div faced Royal Oak from the 3rd. The game quickly swung
in Royal Oaks favour as on 8 minutes Rob Wilcock slotted home from
a goalkeeping error. This lead was extended 2 minutes later with
Jack Brent netting from 30 yards leaving the keeper with little
chance of getting to he ball. David Clifford gave Beechfleet a lifeline
before the break as he halved the deficit for the home side. Michael
Dellar levelled the score at 2-2 early in the 2nd half, and from
that point either team could have won the tie. Royal Oak caught
the Beechfleet keeper by surprise as Mark Saunders shot from the
half way line to regain a lead at 3-2. Rob Wilcock then made sure
of the game as he netted his 2nd of the match from a Tom Hobbs cross
to give a 4-2 victory to the visitors. Royal Oak advance to the
last 8 in the competition and face Warwick Arms of Reading at home
on the 15th. Good luck to the final Bracknell side in the cup!
