off the gas though, Keltar steamed to a 10-1 victory as Ashley Todd,
Richard Stokoe, Bill Buckley, Adam Withers, Chris Wyatt, Stuart
Claxon (2) and Rob Cavendish (3) all hit the back of the net.

AC
Woodcutters were determined to change their fortunes of late as
they faced up against Prince this week. With determined play, Woodcutters
struck themselves into a 5-0 lead with goals from Sean Watson (3)
and Chris Boat (2), leaving Watson scoring the goal of the game
from 35yards. Prince came back into the game before the break as
Bernie Mcdonagh netted twice to make the score 5-2. Callum Prowl
aided Prince’s comeback efforts until the game was put to
bed by Richard Doherty of Woodcutters, leaving a final score of
6-3.
BMW
could only field 10 players today but still had the rub of the green
as they out shot AFC Dukes by 5-2, even though Dukes maintained
a lot of possession during the match. Danny Marinovic (2), Kevin
Chard and Richard Morgan (2) rounded off a neat performance for
BMW, with Ricky Keeley and Andy Fraser netting for AFC Dukes.
Bracknell
Galaxy played their best game this season in the worst possible
conditions as they battled to a well deserved 6-1 win over Woodley
Hammers Res. Chris Jex netted the solitary goal for Woodley, with
Daniel Howard (3), Steve Champion, Calvin May and Joe Brockbank
all scoring for the home side.
FC
Fernhill take further steps toward a title challenge as they saw
off 3M 6-2. Having gone 4-0 up by the break Fernhill seemed to ease
off the attack as 3M came back into the 2nd half. Man of the match
Sam Whiting (2), Jamie Osbourne, Ben Knight, Matt Lindstrom and
Rob Musson all netted for Fernhill with Mark Carlton and Stuart
Vasson replying for 3M.
The
Old Manor felt flattered by the score line as they cruised to a
4-0 win over Finchampstead Athletic A. Finch made good ground with
neat passing moves but couldn’t latch onto any finishes, whereas
The Old Manor made sure of their chances when they came. Super sub
Ian Birch (2), Billy Golding and Rick Smith made sure of the win
for The Manor.

Inter
and Bracknell Manics Res cancelled each other out as the game ended
all square at 2-2. Scott Ansell and Wayne Sandy both scored for
Inter, notching up an assist each also for each other. Aaron Goddard
netted a brace for Manics to level the scores during tough conditions.
Syngenta
started brightly and were rewarded in the first 20 minutes as Lewis
O Conner netted a well struck goal for the home side. John Lister
extended the scores as he struck home for Syngenta before Andy Wells
replied for The Royal Oak. This was too little too late though as
the pressure was absorbed by the Syngenta back line until the final
whistle when the game finished 2-1.
The
Bridge enjoyed a goal fest as they netted 5 times each half to see
off Finchampstead Athletic B 10-2. Tom Conway, Jack Musgrove, Dan
Money (3) and Jamie Tucker (5) all netted for The Bridge with James
Hemmings and Phil Hemmings replying for Finch.
Cable
& Wireless made light work of a heavy pitch at St Crispins with
a demolition job over Victoria Arms. Cable passed the ball well
and were particularly ruthless from set pieces with Victoria Arms
being guilty of giving away too many free kicks around the edge
of the penalty area. Man of the match Tom Doherty grabbed 4 assists
and helped himself to 2 goals in the process. Cable ended the first
half 5 nil up and continued to dominate in the second. Mark Doherty,
Andrew Mallon, Matt Stalker, Craig Murphy (2) and Mike Darby also
got in on the goal-scoring action to add to Tom Doherty's brace.
Victoria arms to their credit kept their energy levels high and
took advantage of some relaxed Cable defending to grab two consolation
goals. Final score Victoria Arms 2, Cable & Wireless 8.

Rangers 5-1 today. Phil Ollive (3), Scott Bland and Adam Cornell
netted for the home side, with Duncan Cantwell replying for the
visitors.
Red
Star and Warfield United battled out a 3-3 draw as neither side
could force the winner. Looking the more likely, Warfield held a
lot of possession and should have walked away with the 3 points.
Peter Sokolovsky, Goran Kostavinovich and Chris Blow all netted
for Red Star, with Nick Shears (2) and Richie Cohen doing the same
for Warfield. Stuart Dorlin and Joe Tickner share the man of the
match today.
William
Twigg Res pressed forward against The Birch during the 1st half
and early pressure resulted in 2 penalties being awarded, both for
handball. The first was superbly saved by Birch keeper Steve Bruce
with the 2nd going high over the bar. Riding their luck, The Birch
pressed forward and a counter attack saw the lead swing their way
as Charlie Turner headed in from close range. The Twigg kept up
momentum and were soon level as Mark Murphy latched onto a knock
down to strike into the top left corner of the net. After having
a goal disallowed, Twigg found themselves 2-1 up as Jack Davis netted
from close range after a deflected clearance landed at his feet.
Into the 2nd half and The Birch held firm with more possession and
further chances prevailing leading to Richard Anscomb riding several
challenges on a run from centre midfield to force an deflected own
goal equaliser. Twigg had a further goal disallowed as an indirect
freekick sailed into the net untouched, but The Birch could have
nicked all 3 points at the death with Stuart Billingham heading
just wide of the post. Final score 2-2.
Berks
& Bucks Junior Cup 2nd Round
Woodley
Hammers travelled to Fox & Hounds of Reading and faced a trip
home after defeat as the Bracknell side left the competition after
extra time. Having 2 goals scored against them Woodley had all the
work to do, but Sam Cialis stepped up to the plate and delivered
2 goals to see the tie go to extra time. Unfortunately for Woodley
the Reading side bagged a late winner with only 3 minutes remaining
to bow out of the cup 3-2.
Bracknell
Town & District Senior League Cup 2nd Round

saw off Sunninghill Athletic 5-3 as the premier league team progresses
to round 3. Ed Carpenter, Lee Nevard (2), Luke Thorn and Gary Webb
all netted for Winkfield with Pazu Ruoto and Steve Mahoney replying
for Sunninghill.
Finchampstead
Athletic took their chances and saw off the full attack of The William
Twigg in their match. The Twigg took a 2 goal lead as Gary Sergeant
and Jamie Docherty struck the goals, but with unforced errors allowing
Finch back into the match these goals were ruled out by Harry Swabey
and Dan Clayton. 2-2 at full time and extra time was needed to determine
a result. This is the time that Finch turned on the gas and scored
a further 3 goals without reply, all courtesy of Matt Wright, to
see off the Twigg 5-2 and progress to round 3.
Winkfield
Sports started their game with only 10 men, but still imposed their
attack on Emmbrook Inn. Adam Sharp (3) and Kevin Philpott rounded
off a fine performance for Winkfield as they saw off Emmbrook Inn
4-1.
Horrendous
weather conditions made it difficult for both sides to take control
of the game, Manics went ahead after 20 minutes from a deflected
shot following pressure from a corner. The Met soon started to get
a there momentum going despite the adverse weather. A great run
by Jason Davey on the left taking on two Manics defenders then having
a shot on goal saved by the keeper only for the rebound to fall
nicely to the on rushing Nick Lovell who had a simple tap into the
empty net. 1- 1 the score at half time. In the second half the weather
improved and so did the football from both sides, really good open
game of football with chances at either end. The Manics looked like
they had won the game as they went 2 - 1 up with only 10 minutes
remaining, however the Met were back on level terms with 2 minutes
left on the clock, team captain Wayne Carter hit an unbeatable shot
from 25 yards out with the ball smashing into the top right hand
corner giving the stand in Manics keeper no chance. Bracknell Manics
and The Metropolitan required extra time to decide the fate of one
of the teams as full time ended 2-2. It was the Manics who came
alive in this extra period and ran out eventual 5-2 winners as Garry
Farmer (2), Harry Clowse, Simon Blay and Manics Man of the Match
Ian Nelson all netted the important goals to see them through to
round 3, both teams expressed what a great game of football was
played with a fantastic spirit on both sides.
Rides
United knock out premier league opponents Bracknell Royals as the
home side won the tie 2-1. Rob Jackson and Kelvin Ratcliffe netted
for Rides.
