Anthony Prior and Tom Soane managed to hit the net for Wokingham, but this was not enough to see off the Rides attack.

Woodley Hammers took a 3-0 lead to the interval against FC Priestwood as Sam Cialis (2) and Kevin Finlay netted for the home side. Into the 2nd half and Priestwood responded well as Gareth Brant and Alex Eastley pulled back some of the difference to 3-2. Sam Cialis completed his hat trick in the closing moments of the match as he slotted home from close range to give Woodley a 4-2 win.

Winkfield Sports played host to The Metropolitan this weekend. Winkfield conceded an own goal in the first half before gathering momentum. But an own goal followed at the opposite end to make it 1-1. A late goal and sweet volley from Carl Moran just before the break took the Met into a 2-1 lead. In the second half there was only one team in the game and The Met ran riot knocking 4 more past Winkfield. Birch took a 3-0 lead to the break as Charlie Turner (2) and a Steve Jones cross/shot found the back of the Warfield net. Into the 2nd half The Birch could have extended their lead further as Turner missed a spot kick, but he soon found the net from range completing his hat trick. Darryl Challenger finished off his debut for the team with a neatly slotted goal from 18 yards after a neat through ball from Andy Young leaving the final score at 5-0. Bracknell Manics Res could not put up a full fight against Bethel United as they could only field 10 players this week with no established goalkeeper. Battling on, the Manics put on a valiant display. Manics survived the first half with only a 0-2 defecit; and changed formation in the second. However Manics could not hold on and played a further 45 minutes failing to take 3 golden opportunities to score and gathered two more injuries along the way, seeing them exit the competition 0-5 which could have been easily more if not for the fine display from Manics stand in goal keeper & Manics man of the match Henry Abrahamian. Bracknell Manics are on the lookout for new players to join the club due to injuries over the last few weeks. Please get in contact if you are interested.

Winkfield Res saw off AFC Earley 1-0 as Mark Campbell netted the all important goal. The Winkfield keeper played a solid game and kept the opponents at bay, assisting Winkfield with their passage to the next round. Keephatch Park didn’t let their heads drop as they conceded first against Reading Piranhas. Instead, they decided to go on a scoring spree whilst stamping authority on the match. Liam Davies (4), Andrew Cook (3), Adam Lawson, Chris Clark and Mark Copperthwaite all found the net as the home side cruised through with a 10-1 score line.
