Bracknell Manics hosted Crowthorne (the prince) today and the home
side suffered through not finishing their chances. Gary Farmer netted
for Manics, but Dale Clark (4) and Stuart Kent (2) made sure the
visitors left this match with all 3 points and a 6-1 win. Paul Bowles
takes man of the match for Crowthorne, with Manics praising their
keeper on his debut despite the score line.
Finchampstead
Athletic continue their undefeated start to the season as they battled
out a 1-1 draw against the Green Man. James Rodgers netted for the
Green Man with the game leading to end to end chances.
Winkfield
continue a good run of form as they disposed of Bracknell Royals
this week with a score of 7-1. Dan Sleet, Luke Thorne, Andy Parslow,
Marcus Stratford James McDougal and a brace from Lee Nevard rounded
off the scoring for Winkfield.

Finchampstead
Athletic Res put in a strong performance as they overcame Sunninghill
Athletic 6-2. Ian Rose put Finch 3-0 up before the break with a
further 3 strikes hitting the net after the interval. Sunninghill
did regroup and manage to find the net through Tony May and Alex
Fettis, but this was too little too late.
Keltar
Old Boys succumbed to the pressure dished out by opponents FC Diligent.
Diligent took a 2-1 lead to the break and came out in the 2nd and
netted a further 4 times. Chris White was on target for Keltar whilst
Mark Parnell (2), Liam Panesar and Richard Bland (3) all scored
for Diligent as they dominated in this 6-2 victory.
FC
Wokingham overcame Sandhurst Social on a difficult pitch, leaving
with a score of 4-1. Darren Hall, Justin Dorey and Vinnie Bond (2)
all scored for Wokingham, with Justin Doreys 50 yard solo run and
finish being the highlight of the match.
Wokingham
Wanderers found themselves short of players and under the cosh as
Rides United kept the pressure flowing toward the Wanderers back
line. Chris Partridge, Kirk Hedges, George Partridge, Rob Jackson
and Ashley Partridge (3) all found the net for Rides as they overcame
the hosts 7-2. Anthony Prior and Tom Soane managed to hit the net
for Wokingham, but this was not enough to see off the Rides attack.
Woodley
Hammers took a 3-0 lead to the interval against FC Priestwood as
Sam Cialis (2) and Kevin Finlay netted for the home side. Into the
2nd half and Priestwood responded well as Gareth Brant and Alex
Eastley pulled back some of the difference to 3-2. Sam Cialis completed
his hat trick in the closing moments of the match as he slotted
home from close range to give Woodley a 4-2 win.
Winkfield
Sports played host to The Metropolitan this weekend. Winkfield conceded
an own goal in the first half before gathering momentum. But an
own goal followed at the opposite end to make it 1-1. A late goal
and sweet volley from Carl Moran just before the break took the
Met into a 2-1 lead. In the second half there was only one team
in the game and The Met ran riot knocking 4 more past Winkfield.

Division
The
Old Manor completed the double on league rivals AC Woodcutters as
they went on to win the match 4-2. The game was closely contested
despite the score line with Jamie Penfold, Alex Webber, Paul Brady
and Ben Ardron all on the score sheet for Manor.
AFC
Dukes found themselves 4-0 down at the break against Bracknell Galaxy
as the away team dominated the 1st half with goals from Steve Champion
(2), Ben Baker and Craig Newell. AFC Dukes came back into the game
in the 2nd half as they gained more possession and scored twice
through Dan Lancaster and Steve Ferguson, but this was to be too
late to stage a comeback as the visiting side left with a 4-2 win.
In
a top of the table clash, BMW met Woodley Hammers Res. It was BMW
whom took the plaudits as they left with a 4-2 win having goals
scored by Rory McGill (3) and Richard Morgan. Daniel Osbourne and
Charlie Gale netted for Hammers as they took advantage of sloppy
defending from BMW, but no further strikes could be forced, leaving
the win to BMW.
Dukes
Head enjoyed themselves in a very entertaining and one sided match
against 3M. The home side dominated from the off and continued throughout
leaving with a score of 6-0, with goals from Gary Brown (2), Brian
Tuck, Gary Porter (2) and Lee Thomas.
FC
Fernhill saw off any advances that Ashridge Park had made, shooting
down the opponents 5-0. Sam Whiting (2), Scott Whiting, Matt Lindstrom
and Ben Knight all got on the score sheet in this one sided game.
Adam Emptage takes man of the match for his performance in the centre
of the park.
Prince
still struggle to find a win this season as they were overcome this
week by Finchampstead Athletic A 3-2. Dan McCarthy, Dean Anning
and Tom Williams all netted for Finch.

Division
FC
Muchachos dominated the 1st half of play against Inter as they went
into the break leading 1-0. With only 10 men and fitness lagging,
FC Muchachos found themselves under pressure in the 2nd half as
Inter began to push forward for the decisive goals. Lee Wentworth
bagged himself a hat trick for Muchachos, but Inter plugged away
for the winner as the away side nicked the game 4-3. Wayne Tandy,
Richard Laker, Dean Graham and Jack Birt all found the net for Inter.

man Finchampstead Athletic B found themselves struggling as The
Bridge ran away with the match 6-1. Jamie Tucker (2), Tom Conway
(2), Dan Money and Dave Brown netting the all important goals for
The Bridge.

Division
AFC
Farmer pick up their 1st win of the season and condemn Axfield to
the foot of the table in a 3-1 victory. Aaron Timms and Pete Edwards
netted for the Farmer as they overcame the advances of Axfield.
Red
Star were out done in the final 20 minutes of the match as opponents
Loddon Valley Rangers scored 3 times within that period. Daniel
Saychern scored for Red Star with Duncan Cantwell and Steve Jennings
netting the goals for Loddon.
The
Birch made it 5 wins from 6 as they kept a clean sheet for the 1st
time this season whilst dominating play against Warfield United.
Birch took a 3-0 lead to the break as Charlie Turner (2) and a Steve
Jones cross/shot found the back of the Warfield net. Into the 2nd
half The Birch could have extended their lead further as Turner
missed a spot kick, but he soon found the net from range completing
his hat trick. Darryl Challenger finished off his debut for the
team with a neatly slotted goal from 18 yards after a neat through
ball from Andy Young leaving the final score at 5-0. James Knight
takes man of the match for Warfield for his efforts.
William
Twigg Res out shot Bagshot Road Res 6-5 with the game being end
to end. Paul Cousins, Billy Morten (2), John Mulholland, Jack Davis
and Darren Baker all netted for Twigg, with Sam Williams (2), Dave
Simmons, Paul Stocks and Lee Barefoot replying for Bagshot.
Berks
& Bucks Intermediate Cup 2nd Round
Athletico
Priestwood battled their way into round 3 and past Reading opponents
Ruscombe as they won the tie 1-0. Callum Whitty accounted for the
Priestwood goal, however, it was Matt Davis whom takes the man of
the match award as he challenged well in tough conditions.
Berks
& Bucks Junior Trophy 2nd Round
Syngenta
exit the trophy as Wee Waif Charvil overcame the home side 6-2 John
Lister and John Fox scored for the home side, but this was not enough
to overcome sloppy defending and challenge for a place in round
3.
The
Royal Oak lead the charge in the competition for the Bracknell clubs
as they knocked out Roundhead Athletic with a score of 3-1. Tom
Hobbs, Mark Saunders and Rob Wilcock all netted to see through the
home side into the next round draw.
Queens
Head overcame Maidenhead Nomads Res to progress with a score of
2-1. With a slow start, Queens Head found themselves 1-0 down with
it all to do. Dave Pye responded well and found the net for the
hosts as he netted 8 minutes from time to put Queens Head through
to rounds 3.
Bracknell
Manics Res could not put up a full fight against Bethel United as
they could only field 10 players this week with no established goalkeeper.
Battling on, the Manics put on a valiant display. Manics survived
the first half with only a 0-2 defecit; and changed formation in
the second. However Manics could not hold on and played a further
45 minutes failing to take 3 golden opportunities to score and gathered
two more injuries along the way, seeing them exit the competition
0-5 which could have been easily more if not for the fine display
from Manics stand in goal keeper & Manics man of the match Henry
Abrahamian. Bracknell Manics are on the lookout for new players
to join the club due to injuries over the last few weeks. Please

Winkfield
Res saw off AFC Earley 1-0 as Mark Campbell netted the all important
goal. The Winkfield keeper played a solid game and kept the opponents
at bay, assisting Winkfield with their passage to the next round.
Keephatch Park didn’t let their heads drop as they conceded
first against Reading Piranhas. Instead, they decided to go on a
scoring spree whilst stamping authority on the match. Liam Davies
(4), Andrew Cook (3), Adam Lawson, Chris Clark and Mark Copperthwaite
all found the net as the home side cruised through with a 10-1 score
line.
