Bracknell
Manics had to fill a key position at short notice this week as Lee
Blackman stood in as goalkeeper for their match against Bagshot
Road. In an inspired performance, Manics came out on top as victors
after having netted through man of the match Matt Rain and a Harry
Clowse penalty. Former Manics player Alan Matthias scored for Bagshot
in his first return to his former club, but could not find an equaliser
as the Manics won 2-1.
10
man Bracknell Royals felt the full force of opponents Wokingham
United as they went down 8-1 in their match. Pat Selby adds to his
already impressive goal tally as he bagged 4 goals, with Darren
Thorne (3) and Grant Lewin grabbing the others for the visitors.
Crowthorne
(the prince) took an early lead through Stuart Kent and put Athletico
Priestwood on the back foot. Further chances came and went for Crowthorne,
but these chances were squandered by the home side. Athletico then
showed why they won this division last season as they hit back at
Crowthorne with 3 goals to punish the home side for not taking their
chances. Debutant Charlie Everson and Daniel Wing (2) grabbed the
match winning goals in this 3-1 score line.
Green
Man were missing players this week as they lined up against Emmbrook
Inn, this however did not stop the side from playing attacking football
from the start. Both teams battled hard for the win, but it was
Emmbrook whom came out on top as they defeated the home side by
4-3. Craig Gurney, Nick Matthews and Tom Maguire scored for Green
Man, with Kevin Mills and a Luke Lee hat trick securing the points
for the visitors. Emmbrook captain Paul Davis is awarded man of
the match for an outstanding performance at centre back.

Priestwood. Chris White grabbed the goals for the home side whilst
Alex Eastman, Ben Brown and Gareth Brant all scored to give the
away side the 3 points.
Rides

today with neither side able to hold onto the lead at 90 minutes.

2nd half to finish off the visitors with a 6-2 victory. Graham Taylor
(3), Ryan Hutchings (2) and Richard Evans all scoring for Sandhurst,
with Simon Knight and an own goal accounting for Athletics goals.
The
Metropolitan stole all 3 points from Finchampstead Athletic Sunday
Res in a 3-2 win, but the away side believed they deserved a draw
and a share of the points for the efforts upon the pitch. Alex Chapman
bagged both Finch goals but could not inspire a 3rd to be oncoming
in this defeat.
Woodley
Hammers kicked off and within 10 seconds found themselves 1-0 up
against FC Wokingham as Neal Robinson latched onto an early through
ball to put Wokingham on the back foot from the start. Kevin Finlay
and Rob Timbers added to the tally, only to be pegged back to 3-3
before the interval as Sean King grabbed a hat trick for Wokingham.
The 2nd half was a much tighter affair with both sides locking up
at the back, however, in the 88th minute FC Wokingham were awarded
a free kick from close range and Kylo Atkinson duly obliged to net
the winner for FC Wokingham in this 4-3 win. (PICTURE: FC Wokingham's

each other out in this 2-2 draw. Dukes head took a 2-0 lead to the
half with Gary Porter and Grant Pagden netting for the visitors.
The 2nd half was all change as 3M bagged 2 goals themselves with
Rich Downes and an own goal accounting for the home side’s
tally.
AC
Woodcutters saw off the advances of Woodley Hammers Res in this
very competitive end to end game. Lee Sadler proved to be the difference
as he netted a brace for Woodcutters to take all 3 points in a 2-0
win for the home side.
AFC
Dukes and BMW matched each other for the majority of the match,
with the visitors only gaining advantage by latching onto mistakes
made by the Dukes back line. Ricky Keeley bagged a hat trick for
Dukes, but this was not enough as Rory McGill (3), Paul Sharman
and Lewon Wilson gave BMW all 3 points in a 5-3 win.
Ashridge
Park and Finchampstead Athletic Sunday A cancelled each other out
as they dominated a half each with the final score ending at 3-3.

side.

2 halves today as the final score in this match ended at 2-2. Steve
Champion grabbed the goals for Galaxy in the 2nd half after Sam
Whiting and Lee Hazelwood had put Fernhill 2 up in the 1st half.
The
Old Manor took control of their match against Prince as they took
a 2-0 lead to the interval with Will Satock and Billy Golding netting
the goals. Prince stepped up a gear in the 2nd half and had Manors
backs against the wall, but could only claw back a solitary goal
through Ben Ogden leaving the final score at 2-1 to the Manor.
3rd
Division
Cable
& Wireless faced up against Victoria Arms today as the sides
had to appoint a referee due to illness. This perhaps marred the
game a little as the home side triumphed 2-1 with Richard Chamberlain
grabbing both goals for the home side. Rob Prior-Long netted the
consolation for Victoria Arms.
Keephatch
Park dominated from start to finish against a poor performing FC
Muchachos De Bracknell. Muchachos didn’t even turn up to the
game as they were demolished 11-0 in their worst performance in
years. Liam Davies (4), Dan Merrit (2), Adam Lawson (2), Tom Bransom,
Chris Clarke and an own goal made up the strikes for the home side.
In
another truly dominating game, Queens Head found themselves 1-0
up in 20 seconds to put Inter on the back foot. This was then added
to by a further 6 strikes for the home side before the half to take
a lead of 7-1 into the interval. The 2nd half was a quieter affair
as both sides grabbed a further goal a piece to take the final score
to 8-2. Dave Pye (5), Keiron Painter (2) and John Allen bagged the
goals for Queens Head, with Steve Munday and Wayne Tandy getting
the Inter goals.
Syngenta
picked up their 1st points of the season as they made the extra
man count against Bracknell Manics Res. Bracknell Manics were reduced
to 10 men as a sending off for a handball offence gave a penalty
to the home side. Shane Ogie (2), John Devany and Graham Compton
all netted for Syngenta, with David Comper and Joel Curran netting
for a depleted Manics side.
The
Bridge and Leaders had to overcome a player being taken to hospital
and a 30 minute stoppage to finish up their match. Although no ill
feeling was within the game, both sides were affected by this and
battled on regardless. It was Leaders whom took the advantage as
Stuart Tomkins and Andy Willis saw off the solitary strike of Jamie
Tucker to finish the match 2-1.
Winkfield
Res played some neat football as they took apart Finchampstead Athletic
Sunday B and came away with a 5-2 victory. Kevin Delaney (2), Chris
Hill (2) and Mark Campbell all scored for Winkfield, whilst Richard
Thorpe and a 30 yard screamer from Nathan Bear was not enough for
Finch.
4th Division
William
Twigg Res couldn’t match last week’s goal tally, but
still took away all 3 points as they overcame AFC Beechfleet 3-2.
Sean Dellar and Nathan Lewis netted for Beechfleet with Dan Baker,
Jack Davis and John Mulholland getting the all important goals for
the Twigg.
Bagshot
Road Res bounced back from defeat last week to dominate as Axfield
competed in their 1st match of the season. Bagshot took the lead
after no more than 10 seconds as Axfield were on the back foot from
the off. Bagshot extended this lead to 6-0 before the interval as

the strikes. It was 2-2 in the 2nd half with Charlie Corey and Richard
James adding to the Bagshot tally and Frederick Ibrufen and Peter
Langham grabbing the consolations for Axfield. Final Score 8-2 to
Bagshot Res.
Loddon
Valley Rangers reversed the result of last week’s match against
Bracknell Badgers as Valley this week played hosts. Loddon Valley
started well and commanded the match throughout as they ran home
5-1 winners to make up for losing the 3 points last week. Jake Wheeler
(2), Craig Liner (2) and an own goal accounted for Loddons strikes.
Red
Star continue with a good run of form as they took yet another 3
points, this time against Rides United Res. Kicusic Priedrag (2),
Kristov Blu and Ian Wright grabbed the goals for Red Star, with
Mark Smith and an own goal tallying for Rides.
The
Birch made it 3 wins from 3 and top the table with a 4-1 win over
AFC Farmer. Birch took the lead early on after a through ball from
Tony Davies met with striker Richard Anscomb whom rounded the defence
to toe poke the opener. Anscomb doubled the lead early in the 2nd
half after Steve Jones slotted the ball across the goal mouth for
a neat tap in. Anscomb then completed his hat trick as a penalty
was awarded for handball, which was duly scored into the bottom
left corner of the net. The Birch extended their lead to 4-0 after
Stuart Billingham cleared from defence to striker Charlie Turner
whom headed past the onrushing keeper from 18 yards. Unable to keep
a clean sheet, The Birch were caught out by a long ball over the
back line which was met by Aaron Timms who neatly slotted the ball
underneath the keeper for the consolation goal.
